SENIOR SCHOLARSHIPS
At the close of every JGA season, we honor our seniors with scholarships! Seniors who have played in a minimum of 3 JGA tournaments each high school year are eligible. We also ask that they submit a final report card and a letter about what JGA has meant to them over the years. Congratulations to our 2025 eligible seniors:

- Congratulations to Cindi Cooper and Oscar Crowe for being awarded the Christensen Family Scholarship. This scholarship is award to a graduating senior that is matriculating to a college and has demonstrated excellent character, scholarship and athletic success in junior golf.
- Congratulations to Audrey Bacic and Sebastian Ayala for being awarded the McKinney Scholarship. Gifted by Wayne McKinney, president of our sister organization Gold Coast Junior Golf Foundation, this scholarship is awarded to a senior exhibiting all that JGA stands for.
- Congratulations to our seniors graduating with the highest GPA this year! Cindi Cooper is the recipient of the Lucy Foreman Scholarship and Mason Sterner is the recipient of the Purdo Scholarship.

PERFORMANCE AWARDS
- Liam Johnston was awarded with the Julius Boros Award. This award honors the Boys Championship Division player with the lowest stroke average for the year.
- Yool Her was awarded with the Carol Mann Award. This award honors the Girl Championship Division player with the lowest stroke average for the year.
- Anastasia Todoric was awarded with the Founders Award. This award honors the girl whose golfing ability and dedication has improved the most over the current year.
- Freddie Rogacki was awarded with the Ron Kesterson Award. This award honors the boy whose golfing ability and dedication has improved the most over the current year.
- Mason Sterner was awarded with the President’s Award. This award is presented to the player who exhibits the spirit of the JGA.
- Kaitlyn Tate was awarded The Fran Pou This award is presented to the player who has demonstrated eagerness to assist parents and the Board of Directors during the season.
COMMUNITY AWARDS
- Sebastian Ayala was awarded with the Citizenship and Sportsmanship Award. This award honors the golfer possessing character, attitude and leadership on and off the course.
- Todd Hinsley was awarded with the Hall of Fame Award. This is awarded to an individual who has had a special influence on the JGA.
- The Harris Family was awarded with the Armen Boros Award. This is awarded to the family that best demonstrates the JGA philosophy.
- Tim James was awarded with the Watson Award. This award is presented to an adult volunteer who has gone above and beyond during the season.
