JGA of Broward County

A yearly membership fee of $75.00 and the completion of the Rules Quiz is required to play in Junior Golf Association of Broward County “JGA” tournaments

To complete the registration process, click here to register and enter your e-mail. You will receive instruction on how to become a member of Junior Golf Association for the 2024 season. Once your registration application is approved, you will receive an email providing you:

1. a player’s ID
2. a link to set up your password
3. a link to complete the required-on line Rules Quiz

Remember, your registration to a tournament will not be accepted until you have passed the Rules Quiz. You will be placed on a waiting list until this requirement is complete.

Once you have completed your membership registration and have passed the Rules Quiz, visit the tournament schedule.

This will take you to the tournament schedule powered by Bluegolf.

• Click on the “Register” link for the tournament(s) you want to play.
• Complete the registration and payment information; submit your entry.

NOTE: you must register for each individual tournament. For the JGA Championship – Invitational tournament, players that meet the qualification to participate will receive an invitation from the JGA Board of Directors with instructions on how to register for the three day event.

One day Tournaments:
Members may register to play in as many one-day tournaments as they choose.

There is a $15, NON-REFUNDABLE registration fee for each of the one-day tournament.

ENTRIES FOR EACH TOURNAMENT CLOSE AT MIDNIGHT ON THE WEDNESDAY BEFORE THE TOURNAMENT.

JGA Championship – Invitational:
At the end of the season on July 25^th, 26^th and 29^th, the Junior Golf Association hosts the JGA Championship – Invitational. To qualify a players must play in at least two (2) of the first seven one-day tournaments. Eligible players will receive a special invitation with register details from the JGA Board of Directors. The JGA Championship registration fee is $60 total and includes all three (3) days of the tournament.

Note: If a player accepts the invitation to play in the JGA Championship they are not eligible to play in the one day tournaments on July 25^th, 26^th and 29^th.

There is a $25, NON-REFUNDABLE registration fee for each of the one-day tournaments and a $60 fee for all three (3) days of the JGA Championship (or $25 per day when selecting only one or two days).

JGA Members must play in at least TWO (2) of the one-day weekly tournaments to be eligible to play in the JGA Championship.

TOURNAMENT ENTRIES FOR EACH TOURNAMENT CLOSE AT 9:00 PM ON THE WEDNESDAY BEFORE THE TOURNAMENT.

Late Entry Fee: A $30.00 late entry fee will be assessed to any entry received after the registration deadline of midnight the Wednesday before a tournament. Late entry to any tournament will be placed on a wait list. Acceptance to the tournament will be based on space availability. Notification will be sent via email to the player if registration is accepted. Late registration will close Sunday at noon. Any requests to register after this point must be requested by completing a contact us form.

Withdrawing from a tournament procedure: If a player needs to withdraw from an event, please complete the contact us form and select “Tournament withdraw” from the list. Please identify the following within your message:

1. Division
2. Tournament date that you wish to withdraw

Tournament registration fees will not be refunded for cancellations made after midnight the Wednesday before an event. Failure to cancel will result in the player not being allowed to play in the following weeks tournament.

Emergency cancellations will be considered on a case-by-case basis when submitted in writing and accompanied with justifying documentation.

No Show Policy: Players who have registered for a tournament and do not show up at the tournament without having given prior notification via the will be considered “No Show. If you are listed on the tee sheet as a no show you are subject to suspension for the following event.
