JGA has prepared me for my future in so many ways.
It was the first golf organization I joined. At such a young age still thinking about playing baseball I didn’t know there was a place where I could play and compete for golf. I was not used to this type of environment and after a couple tournaments, I found myself very comfortable in these situations. JGA allowed me to have a lot of fun on the golf course while still having some serious aspects to win a golf tournament. In addition to golf events, I had to exceed in the classroom as well. My main goal was to always play collegiate golf and I know I wouldn’t be able to make it to that elite level without my studies being in the mix. Without JGA, I know for a fact I would not be where I am today. It made me a better person and made me more determined in my junior golf career. I would not have made the friends that I have today without this organization run by such amazing people. I now have a true golf network all with a common interest. We all love to play golf, a lot! Adding on, I couldn’t be more grateful for the individuals the JGA has surrounded me with and all of the volunteers that help make sure these tournaments run without a hitch. Volunteers have helped me learn the rules of golf and small tips and tricks to use while playing a round of golf. All of these important habits I created on the golf course originated from JGA, and they will stick with me for my entire golf career. I can’t thank JGA enough for everything they have done for me as well as my family. I am now looking forward to the next chapter in my life: College Golf at the University of West Florida, thank you to Junior Golf Association of Broward County.
Sincerely,
